OC OFFLOADS SOME 'KATUNDU'

Zambian musician based in the United States OC has released a single called ‘Paro’ a Nigerian term meaning package or ‘Katundu’ in Zambian language.

The singer has also gotten himself a nomination for the Next Generation Awards to take place in Maryland, in the US.

Announcing the development in a statement, the ‘Google’ and ‘I’m Very Sweet’ singer said ‘Paro’ is now available on online stores and is meant to boost his future projects. The song features one of OC’s musical friends and Nigerian singer Slyaz.

“Paro simply means ‘package’ or ‘Katundu’. This word is a West African slung and was inspired by my friend Slyaz. On this song, I am basically talking about a woman who has it all more than the word beautiful,” he states.

“I am saying, I love her ‘Paro’, I love her ‘Katundu’ or ‘Package’ and I will give her anything.”

It has so far taken about two weeks since the release of ‘Paro’ which OC says will have a video premier on September 3rd.

“Paro has a video and I will be premiering at the ‘Paro All White Party in Dallas Texas powered by Mr Peter Chitila, the Dallas President-Zambia Comrades and also Zulu Man Group,” he added.

So far, OC is set to promote the new single in a couple of states in America starting with Dallas, Atlanta, Maryland, Florida, Indiana plus more others to be confirmed.
