HH pushing his luck too far

Dear Editor,

Hakainde Hichilema has pushed his luck too far. The law must take him where he belongs, maximum prison. Inciting people to rise against a legitimate government is treason. He is also inciting the military to rise against a 50% plus 1 government. The 2016 UPND poor elections result is still haunting him day and night. Tell us what are your evil plans against a God-ordained ruler? What has Zimbabwe situation got to do with the most adored Zambian democracy in the world? HH must start to trust in the Lord because it is Him who gives rains and makes seeds to grow into foods. God’s plan never changes. Change life Zambia

Where are you ECZ?

Dear Editor,

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) isn’t doing anything or enough to help the police end this nonsense of people campaigning before the stipulated time. I believe it’s in their power to black list any political party or politicians engaged in any elicit campaigns before stipulated time. This may restrain uncultured politicians from breaking the law especially the public order act.

IG Kanganja must resign

 Dear Editor,

I will be the first to admit that our police are playing dangerous political games because how else do you describe the release of the 11 suspects in the torching of our City Market? Admittedly our police has been rated 4th poor performing in Africa and that tells the nation a lot. The police has failed our country. The never-ending nolles and acquittals in our courts just confirm poor police work. The IG should just resign in all fairness.

UPND can do it on its own

Dear Editor,

UPND doesn’t need to form an alliance. What they need to do, is just come up with more strategic plans and brilliant ideas. Give advice to the politicians whether they get offended or not. At the end of the day, the advice is either taken or rejected.

NDC crumbling

 Dear Editor,

NDC is going nowhere. Just a few months ago from its formation members are already leaving the party. You can’t have a leader who has one leg in PF the other leg in NDC, where on earth?

Freedom of expression

Dear Editor,

Freedom of expression is a right while respect of other people’s dignity is a responsibility. So we have to use our freedom sensibly and not use the media as a platform to insult and ridicule others!!! What matters is how you use your freedom, if you use it unlawfully and maliciously, then government has a duty and mandate to protect its citizens. Patrick Paul Smn
