Women’s Day celebrations have come and gone but this year’s celebration in Mumbwa was so conceptual and unique that the importance of women was truly showcased and interpreted. As a person in-charge of the department of Community Development, I wish to thank my officers for the job well done and encourage them and others countrywide to even work harder as we carry out our mandates in contributing to the reduction of poverty among the poor and vulnerable women and girls.
I believe it’s an honour to help improve the living standard of people.
