HH’S STANCE ON GRAFT ELATES AVAP

By STEPHEN MWEWA

THE Anti-Voter Apathy Project (AVAP) has commended the President elect, Mr Hakainde Hichilema on his pronouncement to allow investigative wings to operate freely and independently.

AVAP Northern Province coordinator, Amos Muselema, said the move would now encourage the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and other government wings do their best in investigating culprits and bringing them to book.

Meanwhile, Mr Muselema has challenged the ACC to probe the matter of fire tenders’ procurement which has remained hanging. He also urged the ACC and other investigative wings to conclude the matter on the controversial 48 housing units in Lusaka.

Mr Muselema said Zambians were expecting the best results from investigative wings, going forward.
