I CANNOT FORM A PARTY IN SECRET
By GIDEON NYENDWA
FORMER PF diehard, Maxwell Chongu has dispelled reports that he has launched
a party, Young Freedom Fighters Party (YFF).
Mr Chongu said the infor- mation going round social media was false and should be ignored.
He said forming a political party requires a lot of legal procedures which included registration and approval be- fore it could even come on the surface.
“There is no way I would have formed a political party in secret, people would have been invited to support the party,” he said.

“There is no way I would have formed a political party in secret, people would have been invited to support the party,”
Mr Chongu said the launching of a political party would have been publicised and every one would have heard about it.
He said if he had plans to a political party, people would have been seeing him on the ground trying to make neces- sary arrangements.
Mr Chongu however said he is a politician and a Zambian who qualifies to form a politi- cal party, but for now he has no plans of forming one.
“I can form a political party in future if it is the will of God,” he said.
