Finance minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says government will embark on ramping-up production of copper from a record of 8000 tonnes-annually in the past 10 years to a target of 3 million tonnes in the next 10 years in view of the anticipated increase in the manufacturing of electric cars in which copper is a major raw material.
