APOSTLE FREDERICK KALULUMA, ARE YOU AGAINST THE VACCINE AND IS IT SAFE (MEDICALLY)

Dear Editor,

I CANNOT give a medical perspective, I am not a medical expert. I am also not a conspiracy theorist so don’t expect a theory from me.

So take what I am saying as my opinion. I am quite a good thinker and researcher.

I don’t think there is anything medically wrong with the vaccine. I am not 100 percent convinced of the efficacy but I’m not neutral. I’m actually more positive about it medically than neutral.

In fact, as of today, if someone took the vaccine, I wouldn’t be concerned for them. I would though be concerned if they put all their faith in it because the experts have not yet fully agreed.

My biggest challenges have been more sociological. Not with the vaccine but with the way the nations have responded to this virus which by the way has very questionable origins.

Also the extent to which our decisions are influenced by world politics rather than by experts.

I also can’t wait for the day when Africa will endorse its own researches and produce something that might be more effective for Africans.

In short my speaking out recently has been from a sociological perspective not a medical one.

I am of the view that if the goal is to get everyone vaccinated then we should be approached with readily available answers to our questions. In essence everything considered empirical should be questioned.

I hope I have helped.

APOSTLE FREDERICK KALULUMA,
