US based Sports Journalist Augustine Mukoka has revealed rampant cases of lesbian activities in the Zambia Women National Soccer Team where senior players are said to be influencing junior players into changing their sexual orientation.
And Mukoka has alleged that the current under 17 women national team had in 2013 allegedly impregnated one of the junior players.
Speaking when he featured on Bola Review program on Millennium Radio yesterday Mukoka alleged that the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is complicit to sexual abuse cases in the Zambia women national soccer team despite rampant reports before it.
Mukoka says he will soon be engaging World soccer governing body FIFA ethics committee over the rampant cases which have not been given attention locally.
Mukoka said the women national team has for a long time been rocked by cases of sexual abuse with the aAssociation being complicit to the matter.
Mukoka claimed that sexual abuse cases were not only rampant in the junior team but were also rife in the senior team where some coaches and senior players make appointments based on sexual favours .
He alleged that some senior players have in the Copper Queens have been sexually coercing young players into changing their sexual orientations to becoming lesbians or bisexuals in exchange for team selection favours .
He said it was sad that some of the players who are sent to the team by their parents end up returning as lesbians or bisexuals against their will.
