NKANA RANGERS RENEW RIVALRY

AFTER the confusion which resulted in Nchanga Rangers being fined  K50,000 and a five match ban to its spectators for the misbehavior in the Week-6 fixture against Nkana FC, the two teams will today renew their rivalry as they face off in a FAZ Super League’s Week-23 fixtures at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

With the first round fixture at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola having ended in a 1-1 stalemate, today’s fixture promises more sparks as both teams target maximum three points.

The fixture presents a tricky challenge for Nkana FC coach Beston Chambeshi who has failed to guide  his team to victory in the last three games where they have recorded two consecutive draws and one defeat.

Collecting maximum points is also crucial for the Kitwe giants who are still not safe on the Super League table where they sit on 14th position with 25 points, one point away from the relegation zone.

Chambeshi will hope that his charges led by captain Harrison Chisala will be equal to the task at hand to collect their sixth win of the season.

Meanwhile, Nchanga Rangers coach Aggrey Chiyangi, a former Nkana FC coach returns to Nkana stadium with one aim which is to collect maximum points as Rangers hopes to return to winning ways after three consecutive stalemates.

Chiyangi will look to his top strikers in Pedro Migael and Angel Libanda who scored a goal in the 1-1 stalemate against FC MUZA last weekend to get the needed goals for a win which may propel them to the top ten on the Super League table.

Rangers are 12th on the log with 27 points collected from six wins, nine draws and seven defeats.
