THE appointment of former Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube as disciplinary committee chairman for the Patriotic Front (PF) has cheered local party officials.According to a letter of appointment available to the Daily Nation, dated December 17 and signed by acting Secretary-General, Nickson Chilangwa, Mr Ngulube has been appointed to the said position in line with the party’s constitution.“I have no doubt that with your vast political experience, you will discharge your duties diligently,” the letter read in part.Meanwhile, some district officials have welcomed the appointment. Chongwe district chairman Charles Mumena said that Mr Ngulube was well versed in the law and was therefore the right man for the job. He said that the position needed a person who would ably interpret the party constitution.And Rufunsa PF district chairman, Emmanuel Tembo said that the appointment was timely. He said that the party needed to put its house in order to rebrand and bounce back stronger.
