Kampyongo warns rogue police

By NATION REPORTER
POLICE offices mounting illicit road blocks will be sternly deal with, Home Affairs minister Stephen Kampyongo has warned.
This follows concerns that traffic officers were still mounting illegal checkpoints and not taking precautionary measures against Covid-19 when dealing with motorists against Government directives.
Mr Kampyongo warned that he would not tolerate indiscipline among police offices.
He said undisciplined traffic officers not abiding by his directive would be sternly dealt with.
Mr Kampyongo also warned bar owners and individuals against defying the closure order saying those caught would face the wrath of the law.
“We know your tricks of closing clients inside bars, we will smoke you out,” said Mr Kampyongo.
