FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga is confident that the new 2020/2021 soccer season will provide more intriguing and exciting moments.

Kamanga hailed everyone that has remained steadfast in ensuring football continues during the launch of the Charity Shield tournament which will see MTN/FAZ League winners Nkana FC and Eden University national division one league champions Indeni facing off on October 24,
He said FAZ is working closely with the ministries of Health and Sports to ensure that everything is done in line with the health protocols.
And Kamanga said his executive will endeavour to provide measures necessary to ensure that football fixtures in the national division one Eden League are fulfilled.
Meanwhile, Kamanga has hailed Atlas Mara Bank for pledging to sponsor this year’s edition of the Samuel “Zoom” Ndlovu Charity Shield tournament.
Atlas Mara Chief Executive Officer James Koni challenged members of the community to participate in the tournament which will be used to raise funds to be donated to Saint Lawrence Home of Hope which is a charity organisation looking after young boys between the ages of six and 15.
