Mayor pleads for Kitwe Teaching Hospital

GOVERNMENT should commit more resources next year to improve infrastructure at Kitwe Teaching Hospital (KTH), Kitwe Mayor Christopher Kang’ombe has suggested.
Mr Kang’ombe was however happy that the staff at the facility had continued to hard work despite operating under difficult conditions.
The Mayor said it was encouraging to see high level commitment to duty among the staff at the hospital
Mr Kan’gombe said that the members of staff did not look back or underperform despite challenges that the hospital was faced with.
Meanhile, KTH Senior Medical Superintendent Abidan Chansa expressed gratitude to the Mayor and the City Council for the support rendered over the years.
