Habeas Corpus couldn’t alter treason charge – Lubinda

HAKAINDE Hichilema’s request to apply for a writ of habeas corpus could not have changed anything about his main treason case even if it is his right as a Zambian citizen, Minister of Justice Given Lubinda has said.
Mr Lubinda said that Mr Hichilema, being a Zambian citizen had a right to apply for habeas corpus like anyone else.
He, however, said in an interview with the Daily Nation that the habeas corpus still could not have changed anything about his main treason case.
