… I can’t be better over K18,000 monthly ‘peanuts’

I AM not bitter for having been fired from government because the money I was getting is peanuts. I cannot cry over K18, 000 per month, former Information Minister Chishimba Kambwili boasted at a media briefing yesterday.
And PF deputy media director Antonio Mwanza has insisted that Mr Kambwili is bitter and still mourning over his dismissal from government saying “as PF, they are ready to provide him with a handkerchief to wipe away his tears.”
Mr Kambwili, who is Roan member of Parliament has accused Mr Mwanza of having his negotiated salaried position in NDC turned down before he joined PF.
Speaking during a press briefing at his home in Lusaka yesterday which was live-streamed on his official Facebook page, Mr Kambwili has claimed that he is happier to be out of government because unlike when he was a minister, he is now able to concentrate on his businesses.
Mr Kambwili in his usual way attacked personalities throughout his speech, especially Mr Mwanza.
He charged that Mr Mwanza was excited with his new role in PF as it was his first salaried job, claiming that the NDC turned him down when he allegedly went to negotiate for a position.
Mr Kambwili said assertions by Mr Mwanza that he was bitter because he was fired from government was not true as he was more comfortable being out of government.
Mr Kambwili added, “Antonio came to negotiate for a salaried position in NDC but we told him that we do not have a position to offer him on salary and he told us that he would get back to us and the next thing we saw was him joining PF.”
But Mr Mwanza took a swipe at Mr Kambwili describing him as a pathological liar and bitter because he could not cope with his dismissal from government.
Mr Mwanza vehemently denied ever negotiating for a payable position in NDC saying in fact, it was him (Mwanza) who turned-down an offer from Mr Kambwili of being an NDC spokesperson.
Mr Mwanza indicated that he told off Mr Kambwili that he was not petty to join NDC with the aim of fighting President Lungu.
