MY PERSONAL VIEWS ON THE CHANGES OF TAX MAN

Dear Editor,

Dr. Kingsley Chanda has been a resounding character on the overall performances at ZRA, as the institution started recording relatively good operational efficiency that saw a couples of times sitting on an outstanding output in terms of meeting some targets.

He also helped to achieve some models of deliverables on many cases that have for a long time been teething issues though ZRA didn’t do much government advisory functions in regards to certain fiscal elements. His change has been received with some mixed feelings, Chanda tried his levels best and he has been a great tax man as he changed positively to impact good performance as he had some relatively KPIs though with some spots of weaknesses but very great personality.

I love the involvement of the Copperbelt University in their ICT infrastructure, ZRA contracted a local IT player to develop their software IT mason and CB university has done exceptionally well with the tax application system which is now perceived as user-friendly.

The new tax man is equally great strategic thinker, as he was the brain behind some of these strategic internal and external changes but hope to see if he can champion resilience.

As a going concern, this key important institution needs total political soberness and we need to depoliticize the revenue house from all political agents in order to help in the attainments of macroeconomic stability.
