BEMBA MPS SORRY

By NATION REPORTER

PARAMOUNT Chief Chitimukulu is right about Bemba Members of Parliament failing to take development to the province and it is a clarion call for us to pull up our socks, Chilubi Member of Parliament Mulenga Fube has said.

Mr Fube in an interview said the Paramount Chief had a right to air out his grievance and that as an MP in the region he would take the counsel seriously.

He said that the Chitimukulu was right and that according to his measure there are certain things that were amiss which we needed to work on.

Mr Fube said that it was a wakeup call for the MPs, including himself, to ensure that they work on one project or two.

“If you look at the Chitimukulu he is a technocrat who understands things from an informed perspective, therefore we should take his counsel very seriously,” he said.

He said that the Mwinelubemba had the ability to even counsel the church when he thought certain things were not in order.

Mr Fube said that he would not argue with Chitimukulu’s sentiments because he held him in high esteem.

He said that there was need for the country to use events like the ukusefya pa ngw’ena to promote national unity.
