Mpika PF councillor denies resignation allegation

By NATION REPORTER

PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Chibuyesonde ward councillor in Mpika Charles Mutale has denied allegations that he has resigned from his civic position.

Mr. Mutale said PF founder late Michael Chilufya Sata emerged from Mpika of which a resignation would be a betrayal to his vision.

He vowed to remain strong in PF for him to development his leadership skills.

Mr Mutale said he was shocked that people were spreading lies that he had resigned.

“People are calling me asking to state reasons for my resignation, I want to say that I have not resigned, am still a PF councillor,” he said.

He said the money being used to buy councillors should be used to lower the cost of mealie-meal.

Mr Mutale urged PF councillors to remain united in opposition to fight for Zambians.
