PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has commended the heroism exhibited by some rural farmers facing adversity of drought for taking matters into their own hands to save the crops.
Mr Hichilema said some rural farmers had resorted to drawing water from rivers, streams, and wells, in some cases employing oxen-drawn carts, sledges, and even trucks to carry water to the fields to save their crops ravaged by the prolonged drought. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
