A 15-year-old boy has been in detention in an adult cell at Matero Police station since his arrest on January 26, 2024, court documents have revealed.
Guardian to the minor, Ms Elizabeth Ng’oma on Wednesday applied for habeas corpus in the Lusaka High Court stating that the boy’s health was deteriorating and police officers were hindering to take food for him.
Ms Ng’oma said the minor was arrested on January 26 this year by a Criminal Investigations Officer, Mwanza of Matero Police Station. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
