THE Lusaka City Council (LCC) yesterday joined marketeers at Mtendere Market to clean and collect the garbage that has been accumulating for many months.
Lusaka mayor Chilando Chitangala said Lusaka was experiencing the worst cholera outbreak in many years and that was why Health Minister Silvia Masebo and the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Garry Nkombo were going round sensitizing people about the dangers of cholera and practicing good hygiene especially in markets.
