…brace for tough times, says Sports Minister Nkandu

GOVERNMENT has warned sports federations to be prepared for tough times due to a number of challenges the country is facing.
Sports, Youth and Arts Minister Elvis Nkandu said Government is spending a lot of money to contain challenges such as the cholera epidemic which has had a negative impact on the country.
Nkandu said the beginning of the year has been the toughest due to a number of challenges the country is facing. He was speaking when he unveiled the list of athletes for the All Africa Games next month in Ghana,
He said Government was compelled to reduce the number of athletes for the All Africa Games from over 100 to 65 due to financial constraints. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
