A THIRTY-YEAR-OLD man of Lusaka has been sentenced to 12 months imprisonment with hard labour by the Kalomo Subordinate Court for hate speech.
But in Lusaka yesterday, Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Gilbert Phiri refused to grant consent to Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) president, Sean Tembo to privately prosecute UPND secretary general Batuke Imenda for characterizing Lusaka Archbishop Dr Alick Banda as Lucifer of Zambia.
