THE Zambia National Service (ZNS) Eagle mealie meal is not being distributed in rural areas and severe hunger has broken out in the country’s remote areas such that children are no longer concentrating in school, Dundumwezi UPND Member of Parliament Edgar Sing’ombe has complained.
Meanwhile, Brenda Nyirenda, the Patriotic Front (PF) Lundazi MP has said it is a shame Zambia has become a hungry nation under the UPND government to the extent that the country was being forced to import mealie meal from countries to which it had exported the maize. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
