BEENE Hachoombwa, a UPND presidential campaign member was yesterday attacked and hacked by machete wielding ruling party cadres, leaving him with a deep cut on his head for which he had to receive five stitches.
Mr Hachoombwa sustained a deep machete panga cut on his head that acquired five stitches, after a confrontation with fellow UPND cadres, and has since warned of an escalation of intraparty violence unless police and party the leadership acted decisively to stem what has become a scourge in the governing party.
