THERE was jubilation yesterday at the Lusaka Magistrate Court after the court acquitted Given Lubinda, the Patriotic Front (PF) vice president of all the charges he was facing and pronounced him a free man.
He wept.
When contacted for a comment for his acquittal after facing four counts of possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime contrary to section 71 (1) of the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act No. 19 of 2010, of the Laws of Zambia, Mr Lubinda only said; “The God of Justice never leaves his people.
