A SHOWDOWN between the State and the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) is looming at this year’s Kuomboka traditional ceremony as the Litunga, the King of the Lozi people has invited His Royal Highness, Paramount Chief Chitimukulu as the guest of honour much to the displeasure of President Hakainde Hichilema, who has decided to attend the event as Zambia’s Citizen number one.
But the Barotseland Nationalists Youth Alliance has accused President Hichilema of abusing his powers by forcing himself to be the guest of honour when he is aware that Paramount Chief Chitimukulu has been invited as grace the ceremony. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
