THE decision by the UPND administration to tell Zambians to begin importing maize for personal survival after raiding the country’s silos and selling more than 1.5 million metric tonnes is a mockery to the nation, Kasonde Mwenda the Economic Freedom Fighters president has charged.
Mr Mwenda said in a statement yesterday that the decision to allow for importation of maize was both a mockery and an admission of leadership failure by the UPND.
