THE Patriotic Front (PF) is shocked that President Hakainde Hichilema, Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti and all the UPND Members of Parliament have remained audibly quiet over the abduction and disappearance of Emmanuel Jay Banda, the Petauke independent legislator who has been missing for more than 48 hours.
The PF has made an impassioned appeal to President Hichilema to address the nation and direct all State investigative wings to move and find Mr Banda and bring him back alive.
Brian Mundubile, the Leader of Opposition in Parliament is wondering whether it was any coincidence that Mr Banda had been abducted while Jean Chisenga, the Mambilima PF law maker had her house burnt after Charles Milupi, the Infrastructure Minister directed Gilbert Liswaniso, the UPND youth leader to deal with those who were criticising President Hichilema.
