IMF nods Zambia’s terms with bondholders


THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) has confirmed that the terms in the agreement reached between Zambia and its bondholders are consistent with the comparability of treatment among creditors.

The terms of this agreement have been assessed by the Fund staff as being in line with the parameters of its supported programme.

The confirmation was made by IMF Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva, in her statement to the nation’s financial sector.
