LWSC begins water rationing

THE Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company (LWSC) has with immediate effect started water rationing due to the impact of load shedding and drought.

Company Managing Director Jilly Chiyombwe said the utility has also reduced water supply from 18 to 10 hours per day.

Addressing the Media in Lusaka yesterday, Mr. Chiyombwe said in line with ZESCO load management LWSC has started water ration due to the reduction in power supply and low water levels in ground water due to the drought.
