Musokotwane seeks increased agri productivity despite drought

MINISTER of Finance and National Planning Situmbeko Musokotwane says the UPND government will use all possible avenues to increase productivity in the agriculture sector in the face of the drought situation that has devastated the country putting more than six million Zambians at the risk of famine.
Speaking to scores of residents in Milinga communities when he demonstrated the operations of a solar powered water pump in Luambimba River, Dr. Musokotwane says it is possible to have three harvests in a year if simple technology is applied.
