WORKERS have become highly indebted because they have resorted to acquiring loans due to poor salaries, says Advocates for People’s Prosperity president Mwenya Musenge.
Mr Musenge said there is need for employers to consider improving the pay for the employees for them to sustain their lives.
He said as it stands now, many employees both in private and public sector are struggling because the economic status of the country is bad. Mr Musenge said a well-motivated employee would deliver adequately, and the efforts can trickle down to the nation.
