PETER Sinkamba has said the establishment of AFRICOM in Zambia is a threat to the sovereignty of Zimbabwe and other Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) member States and Zimbabwe may begin to mobilize its defence system to defend itself.
Mr Sinkamba said it was extremely regrettable that the AFRICOM, which has been established Zambia was about to strain the relationship with Zimbabwe which have had a good relationship since independence
Mr Sinkamba was reacting to a video which has gone viral where Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa had met Russian President Vladmir Putin to express his concerns about the security in his country following the establishment of AFRICOM in Zambia
