PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema should stop perpetuating a lie that he was put on death row after he was arrested and charged with treason for blocking a presidential motorcade in Mongu while in opposition, and risking the life of a sitting President in 2017, former President Edgar Lungu has finally spoken out.
And former President Lungu has told the UPND leadership to consider stepping down and resigning if they have had failed to govern so that other competent Zambians could take over as that was normal political practices worldwide.
Former President Lungu says it is a lie that President Hichilema was on a death row while he was detained at Mukobeko Maximum Prison because his treason matter was never in any court for trial or judgement following regional and global mediation.
