THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved Zambia’s request to increase financing through the US$1.3 billion Extended Credit Facility (ECF) programme to assist in tackling the economic effects arising from the current drought situation.
For the same objective, the World Bank has also pledged to support Zambia with financing worth US$200 million.
