THE lackluster manner in which the State is treating the abduction of Petauke Central Independent Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Jay Banda is very worrying. There are far too many loose ends and suspicious utterances.
While we have no evidence to prove State involvement, it is disconcerting that some very disingenuous statements have been made to distance the State from the dastardly act, none of which have been particularly informative.
The Police in particular, do not seem keen to investigate the matter, if anything, the second and third abductions of Jay Jay by the Police have given reason to doubt State neutrality in the matter.
