UPND an insecure gov’t – M’membe

ZAMBIANS should not be intimidated by the dictatorial tendencies President Hakainde Hichilema but should stand firm and reject all forms of oppression, corruption, regionalism and tribalism being perpetrated by new dawn government, Fred M’membe has said.

Dr M’membe, the president of the Socialist Party says the UPND has been the most irresponsible and careless government ever which has been spending most of its time persecuting political rivals and perpetrating tribalism with impunity when poverty and hunger was worsening among Zambians.

Dr M’membe was speaking yesterday in Kitwe during a press briefing at the Party Secretariat after the police verbally cancelled a public rally, which was scheduled to take place at Changanamai grounds in Kwacha Township despite being served with a written permit on Friday evening
