Nkwazi, Zanaco do battle as Red arrows face Lusaka Dynamos

MIDLANDS’s giants, Sensational Zanaco FC and High Flying Nkwazi FC will today renew their rivalry when they face off in a Week-11 fixture at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.
Zanaco will fight to recover from three consecutive draws where they dropped six points.
However, today’s clash with Nkwazi is another tricky fixture for the “Bankers” who are taking on a team enjoying good form and sits second on the Super League table with 19 points.
From a possible nine points from the last three matches, Nkwazi have picked seven points, beating Lusaka Dynamos and Power Dynamos before the goalless draw against Kafue Celtics in their last fixture.
Today’s clash with the “Bankers” promises sparks with Nkwazi fighting for maximum points to go level on points with leaders Green Buffaloes who enjoy a three-point advantage.
Nkwazi FC assistant coach Keegan Phiri believes they have enough ammunition to “arrest” Zanaco at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
Phiri said his playerss are not under pressure and were looking forward to impress to maintain their position on the Super League table.
Phiri will pray that strikers Pride Mwansa, Mbewe Lawrence and Steven Mutama who is Nkwazi’s current top scorer with four goals will come to the party at Imboela Stadium.
Zanaco will miss the services of their top scorer Moses Phiri who is with the national team in Tunis.
Meanwhile, after giving up a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Kafue Celtics on Sunday, Red Arrows will seek to recover from that disappointing result when they take on Lusaka Dynamos.
The clash, scheduled for Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka is another interesting derby with Lusaka Dynamos seeking their first win in six games.
Lusaka Dynamos will also be looking for maximum points to move out of the relegation zone were they seat on 16th position with 10 points.
For Arrows coach Chisi Mbewe, today’s game presents Arrows the chance to start picking maximum points after drawing the last four matches.
A win for the Airmen may take them into the top ten on the Super League table where they occupier 13th position with 11 points.
