ZAMBEEF is expected to embark on vigorous initiatives to expand its network in the upcoming years, company Food Retail Brand Chief Operating Officer, Mike Lovett, has said.

The Zambian retail network currently consists of 67 retail outlets, 40 macro stores, two wholesale stores, three fast food outlets, 30 Novatek outlets and 12 Zamshu outlets.
Mr Lovett said Zambeef had in the past years increased its retail footprint to serve its customers better, while raising the bar in terms of quality, affordable and easily accessible products.
He explained that all this was being done through the company’s macro store roll-out programme.
Since inception in 1994, Mr Lovett said, Zambeef had continued living up to the needs and wants of the Zambian people.
He said this last week in Lusaka when he officiated at the ‘Win-a-Bull’ competition prize giving ceremony.
“We have evolved and grown alongside the people of Zambia, moving in tandem with the changing nature of the Zambian society, by providing the best products and services on the market complemented by excellent customer service,” Mr Lovett said.
Mr Lovette said the company was proud to be Zambia’s largest vertically integrated food retailing brand.
He said the company was also proud of its reputation and had worked hard to establish it.
Mr Lovett highlighted the company’s commitment to serving the people of Zambia, with special reference to the activities of the day.
He also said the company had embarked on this competition to demonstrate the value and importance it attached to its loyal customers.
“We embarked on this competition alongside the company’s Silver Jubilee celebrations to demonstrate the value and importance we attach to our loyal customers.
“Our customers continue to be at the heart of our business; they are the reason Zambeef is what it is today,” Mr Lovett said.
He later congratulated the ten winner and urged them to continue being ambassadors of the Zambeef brand.
