‘Tribal politics wont work in Southern Province’
By OLIVER SAMBOKO
NO amount of tribal politics by opposition UPND will change people of Southern province’s resolve to vote for President Edgar Lungu in next year’s election, PF Mobilization Committee Treasurer Bizwell Mutale has said.
He said the PF has done its homework and was assured of resounding victory following the unprecedented development which the Government under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu was understating in the province.
“The very fact that the entire HH went to Southern Province to talk about me, is a clear demonstration that he is now feeling the heat in his once stronghold. As PF we are not bothered by his tribal politics because we have done our homework well,” he said.
Mr Mutale said the people of Southern Province have realized that it’s only the PF and President Lungu who have a better plan for the country adding that opposition UPND and its alliance partners will be shocked about the outcome of next year’s general election.
He said President Lungu was an action oriented person who has transformed the country into a better place to live in, within a short period time he has been in power.
Mr Mutale also condemned Mr. Hichilema for using unpalatable language against women during a public rally in Pemba.
Mr. Mutale said that women deserve to be respected at any cost because they have the right to support a party of their choice and should not be intimidated by politicians.
He said the opposition leader needs prayers and God’s guidance because his statement did not in any way represent the Christian values of the country.
Mr Mutale wondered why the women’s movement in the country is always quiet whenever the UPND leader issues unpalatable statements against women.
