PATROTIC Front (PF) secretary general Davies Mwila has with immediate effect dissolved parallel structures in all the organs in Mufumbwe and Manyinga committees which has affected party mobilisation in North-Western Province.

Mr Mwila said after the tour of North-Western province, it was discovered that there were two parallel structures in all the organs in Mufumbwe and Manyinga districts and this has since affected party mobilisation.

“Therefore, on behalf of the party president, the Central committee and pursuant to article 58(m) and article 61 of the Patriotic Front constitution, I have with immediate effect decided to dissolve all the structures in the said districts with immediate effect,” said Mr Mwila.

He said the Elections Committee was, therefore, informed to start preparations to conduct elections in Mufumbwe and Manyinga districts.

He noted that he was aware of the many problems that the PF officials were facing and those members disturbing peace in the party would be disciplined.

Mr Mwila said he would not tolerate anarchy or rather lawlessness in the party, but all he wanted to see was unity under One Zambia, One nation motto.

The secretary general has since urged them to be focused on supporting President Edgar Lungu to ensure that he continued governing the nation beyond 2021.
