I FORESEE the Patriotic Front (PF) scooping the 2021 general elections because the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema is still mourning his 2016 election loss, former Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) Copperbelt chairperson Yotam Mtayachalo has said.

Mr Mtayachalo said that it was highly likely that the PF would  scoop the 2021 general elections because Mr Hichilema was still in denial of the 2016 elections loss.

He explained that the PF was busy fulfilling the promises they made during the campaign period, hence winning kudos from the Zambian people.

Mr Mtayachalo said that Mr Hichilema was wasting time mourning over an election that was long gone when even other opposition political parties were mobilising their supporters.

He, however, reiterated that no other opposition political party would be able to defeat the PF in 2021 following the support that they had continued to get across the country.

Mr Mtayachalo said that he already foresaw PF scooping the 2021 elections because the leader of the biggest opposition political party Mr Hichilema was still mourning his 2016 election defeat. “I foresee PF scooping the 2021 general elections, Mr Hichilema is busy crying over his loss in last year’s elections. PF is busy fulfilling the promises they made during the campaign period and winning kudos from the Zambian people,” he said.

Mr Mtayachalo said that Mr Hichilema was genuinely defeated in last year’s elections and that it was high time he accepted defeat and soldier on.

He pointed out that fighting for an election that was already fading out in the minds of electorate was just a waste of time and resources.

Mr Mtayachalo said that the PF was on track with its development agenda and that the party had even won kudos in UPND strongholds.

And Mr Mtayachalo said that most of the Zambian people’s perception that Mr Hichilema was tribal had made the UPND unpopular.

He warned Mr Hichilema that the UPND would become the least among all the political parties if it continued to pursue a matter they could never triumph on.
