AN In- mate at Isoka correctional facility in Muchinga Province has died after a short illness.In an interview, Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS) public relations Doreen Ngoma identified the deceased as 26 year old Moses Simwanza 26 years old of katonga village of Chief Kafwimbi chiefdom in Isoka District.Ms Ngoma explained that Simwanza was serving his 18 Months sentence at Isoka correction facility on three counts of stock theft.“Convict Simwanza died at around 23 hours on Friday at Isoka General Hospital after a short illness, “she said. The late inmate was incarcerated on June 24 2021 and was expected to be discharged on May 23, 2024.The bereaved family with the assistance of the Isoka correctional facility have since put him to rest.
