Lucky Phiri, known professionally in the music circles as Blake Zambia, is a Zambian singer and songwriter.
Blake rose to fame in 2017 and vividly revealed his great musical talent which attracted a lot of renowned African artistes like Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Maleek Berry, Yemi Alade, Roberto Zambia, Orezi and others to support his music.
This then led to his signing at “emPawa Africa” in 2018 when label CEO Nigerian international artiste “Mr Eazi” noticed and liked him via Twitter.
Eventually, this led him to be the first Zambian and second African artiste to be signed to Mr Eazi’s label. This made him to later drop his first single on the label called “Kawilo” which did very well and widened his audience.
In June 2021, Blake dropped an album called “Love and Understand” which was bought on auction sale at K30,000 making it among the most expensive auction sold album in the history of Zambian music.
