THE UPND government has gone on a crusade of grabbing people’s properties by abusing the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act and are seizing citizens’ assets without trial but only on the perception that such properties are tainted, Brebner Changala has said.
And Mr Changala, a civil and political rights activist has said it is a relief for the Patriotic Front (PF) vice president Given Lubinda that justice has prevailed following his acquittal on four counts of possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime by the Economic and Financial Crimes Court.
