‘HYPOCRITE’ KAMBWILI TOLD OFF

CHISHIMBA Kambwili is a hypocrite who with one breath invites former MMD members to join his NDC while fighting them with the other, Patriotic Front (PF) media director, Sunday Chanda has charged.

And Mr Chanda said that only a fool would wish to even drag innocent people into his politicking.

Mr Chanda was reacting to NDC leader, Kambwili’s statement that PF did not belong to President Edgar Lungu’s mother for him to be appointing members of the MMD at his will.

Mr Chanda said that the Roan Member of Parliament should not forget that he, together with NDC secretary-general Mwenya Musenge  came from the MMD before joining PF.

He said that while Mr Kambwili remained expelled from PF, it should not matter to him who President Lungu appointed.

“It is a historical fact that Mr Kambwili joined PF from MMD and had applied to stand on an MMD ticket during the adoption process in 2001 and should therefore stop masquerading as a founder member of the PF because he too just joined it from MMD,” Mr Chanda said.

Mr Chanda said that former MMD members were not political lepers and like others before them, they reserved the right to join any political formation of their choice.

In appointing office bearers, he said the President, among other considerations looked at one’s capacity to deliver and their loyalty to the party.

Mr Chanda noted that Mr Kambwili spent a lot of time in 2017 hallucinating about corruption but he failed to live up to the demands put to him that he should go beyond hearsay to tender in evidence.
