PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says Government will continue putting measures to contain the cholera situation in the country.
Mr Hichilema has encouraged people to adhere to the health guidelines being given by competent health authorities eradicate cholera.
He said taking measures to avoid contracting the disease is the government’s call to action.
“We keep monitoring the cholera situation around the country, particularly in Lusaka.
Government will continue putting measures to contain the situation. We repeat the call on our citizens to adhere to the health guidelines being given by competent health authorities.
“We can only defeat cholera if we work together. Take measures to avoid contracting the disease is our call to action, “President Hichilema said.
