‘PANICKING UPND, TRYING TO INTIMIDATE OPPONENTS’

By ADRIAN MWANZA

THE UPND have sensed that they are going to lose the Kabwata constituency seat and are in panic mode, and resorted to issuing threats to intimidate us, PF aspiring candidate Clement Tembo has said.

Mr Tembo said in an interview, that the UPND knew that they would lose the Kabwata seat and has unleashed  unrepentant individuals like Mr William Banda  to start issuing threats to scare the opponents.

He said the party would not be swayed and that such antics by the ruling party were in futility as they would not take them anywhere.

“It’s obvious that people like the old man, William Banda, are scared that is why they want to threaten and intimidate us,’’ Mr Tembo said.

Mr Tembo said the PF  was rebranding and that they were more united than ever after learning and trying to improve on some of the mistakes they made in the past.

He said that it was unfortunate that disparaging remarks could be attributed to Mr Banda who was quite an elderly man.

Mr Tembo said the people of Kabwata had come to their realisation and would teach the UPND an election lesson come January 20, 2022.

“This is not a fight against the PF but the people of Kabwata who are going to show them a big lesson come next month,” he said.
