STOP BLAME GAME, OPPOSITION TOLD

By ROGERS KALERO

IT is cheap political propaganda for the opposition politicians to blame the current state of the economy on the Patriotic Front (PF) Government when they are fully aware that the Covid-19 has left big and small economies devastated, PF Ndola Central aspiring candidate Andrew Mustard Kalima has said.

Mr Kalima said it was disappointing that, out of  hatred and desperation, some opposition politicians were accusing the ruling PF of having mismanaged the economy despite knowing too well that the Covid-19 had devastated the country’s economy just like other countries’ economies worldwide were struggling to recover from the effects of the pandemic.

In an interview in Kitwe yesterday, Mr Kalima said opposition politicians must show leadership and accept that the devastating effects of the covid-19 have had a telling effect on the economy.

“These opposition politicians, they know that the Covid 19 has wreaked havoc on both small and big economies but because they are inhuman and so desperate for power, they are using the effects of this pandemic as a campaign tool and accusing the PF of having mismanaged the economy

He has instead challenged the opposition UPND leadership to aggressively deal corruption and violence in the adoption.
